Elsie is a demon – the epitome of the horrors of hell. A ditzy and clueless demon specializing in cleaning, to be precise.

The superiors who put Elsie on permanent cleaning duty knew what they were doing. On the one hand, Elsie is dangerous when doing anything not related to domestic chores. On the other hand, she has a genuine affinity to any kind of activity involving a broom or a duster. Elsie cleans with pride, speed and efficiency. Unfortunately, even hell has moments when it has to send its cleaning crew to the front line.

Naive and inexperienced, Elsie makes her first mistake on the very day she begins her new mission. On her perilous quest to fight off evil spirits, she accidentally pairs up with an unwilling and misinformed human partner. And there's no way to break the contract until either the mission is accomplished or Elsie and her partner both die for slacking off. At least Elsie will never again believe what she reads on the Internet.

But what Elsie lacks in ability, she more than makes up for with her passion. She earnestly wishes to succeed, and will let nothing bring her down. She proves she can be quite cunning when the situation calls for it, and there's no other demon in hell as stubborn as her. With enough effort and her persuasive powers, Elsie might just succeed at creating a duo capable of accomplishing the task set before her.

At least with both her head and career on the line, she is sure to give it her all.
